Wilber is on the TV!

Matt took this video with his phone while Will was eating for the first time! He is such a cutie. Today Will actually ate pretty good. Up until today he has just kinda got bits but most of it ended up on his bib. :) Matt fed him today, so maybe that is the trick! We will see how it goes tomorrow. 


We also painted our living room wall today, finally! It is a dark red that has a brown tint to it. It looks really good. Our living room is really dark now tho. I think it will be better when we get the other three walls painted in the creme color we want. It is called creme brulle' or however that is spelled :) Pictures to come.


Will also got to have the not-so-wonderful experience of his first cold this week. :( Matt's parents came to visit, which was wonderful, but unfortunately Matt's mom was not feeling so well by the time they left and she passed it onto all three of us. It has been NO FUN being sick and not being able to take anything because of nursing. Matt and I are finally starting to feel better and hopefully baby boy is too. He has a pretty good cough and a stuffy nose. I think he will be good. We have his 4 month check up tomorrow so we will have the doctor look at his cough just in case. I just wish he didn't have to get shots on top of being sick. Cross your fingers that he has a good day tomorrow!

4 months old and learning to eat!

Will turns 4 months old tomorrow! Holy cow I cannot believe it. He has grown so much. I can't wait to see what his measurements are next week at his appt. We decided to see if he was ready for rice cereal today. He did pretty good. I'm not sure how much actually got in his tummy but it was a good start. I figure he will have to have a couple of tries before he gets the hang of it. :) Good thing is he kept putting his hands in his mouth right after a spoonful of cereal so I think that helped him get some in his tummy. I also took his 4 month picture today. I know it's a day early but I liked the outfit he had on today. Fortunately I took it just in time! He had a small diaper leak about 5 seconds after this picture. :)

Scootin baby!

Will has learned a fun new trick! Scooting. He loves to do it, and usually at the WORST time. :) Every time I go to get him out of bed he has either scooted all the way to the top of the bed or he has his neck craned up against the side of his crib. I have tried starting him out closer to the end of the crib and away from the side that he always goes to, but it doesn't really help him. 
He also really loves to scoot when you are changing his diaper. Of course he will lay really good up until the point when you want to tighten the diaper around his waist. That is when he decides to scoot by pushing his bum up. It makes changing a diaper so horrible!! I would much rather take the twisting he was doing last week. LOL 
On a side note: the stupid race track has started up again. It is so LOUD! I really hope that it doesn't keep Will up. So far he seems ok, but it hasn't been as loud as it can be. I guess we will see. Also, we have apparently passed into tornado season. I am so freaking scared. It is so ridiculous. The people here act like it is no big deal. The news is saying that we are in tornado warning and to "get to your safe place" and I see people playing outside and driving around. Matt said that it is like snow for us in Utah, it is something you just deal with and get used to. I certainly hope so!
