We got him one of those saucer toys so that he can sit up, which he loves (which is also good because he prefers to lay on the right side of his head and it is getting a little flat!). We put him in it after Matt put it together and he seemed to have fun looking around, but then I think it got to be too much new stuff at once. LOL
We also got a ball thing and some soft blocks that rattle or crinkle or other stuff. He really liked the ball when we were in the store, but when we got home I think he was over it for a bit. :)
He loves to eat his hands and he is drooling like crazy! I try to keep his hands out of his mouth and put the binki in as much as I can but sometimes he just spits the binki out and puts his hands in. He gets really mad when I try to wipe the drool from his face. But oh well!
Here are some other pics that I have taken recently...
I thought he looked so cute! We had just finished his bath and I couldn't help myself. :)
Snuggling with daddy napping. It seems they do this a lot!
Tummy time! He is really getting good at lifting his head. Which really helps him get less frustrated!
On a side note, we experienced our first tornado warnings the other week. It was a couple days after my last post and it scared the crap out of both of us. The weather had been acting up and so Matt was monitoring the storms. We went to bed with having a tornado watch not to far from us and then about 12:30 it was raining really hard that Matt and I both woke up. He checked his phone and we had a tornado warning for our city. We of course totally freaked and were stuck to Matt's phone for info. We got Will and kept him with us just in case. At about quarter to one the first tornado siren went off. So we got in the hall bathroom so that we weren't around windows and tried to get the cats to join us. They, of course, would not cooperate. Matt was walking around the house and looking out the windows to see if he could see anything and the lights from the city were bright enough that he could see a little bit, but no tornado. Then the siren's went off again. FREAKY!!! Anyway after watching the phone and seeing the storm pass over us we felt safe to put Will back in his bed about 1:30 and try to go back to sleep. Will stayed asleep the whole time! Of course he woke up at 2:00 for his normal feeding time! The power was out for a while but it did eventually come back on and it helped relieve some of the scariness. Luckily a tornado did not actually touch down that we know of but it was still kinda scary!

Will is getting so big. He's so handsome :)
ReplyDeleteThat is really scary about those Tornado warnings. I would be freaking out hearing those sirens, even the sirens sound ominous.
