Well Will has learned how to army crawl. It is pretty cool. He usually doesn't go too far, but I am sure it will come soon. He has also decided that he is a rolling machine! I cannot leave him on the bed anymore. It kind of sucks because I usually put him on the bed while I go potty so I can still hear him and everything. But now he has to stay in the living room on the floor or in his saucer while I go potty. He is not a fan of that! It's ok tho, he is starting to play by himself really well. We bought him a toy that is like a tambourine and he LOVES it.
Will is doing really well with solids. We tried avocado the other day. He seemed ok but wouldn't each much. I want to buy another one and see if I give it to him in chunks if he will eat it better. That is the only way he will eat banana. He does not like it mushed up. I also gave him a little taste of some canned chicken. He liked it ok, but didn't eat much. He has decided that he does not like asparagus. LOL The other day I gave him asparagus and then he wouldn't eat the squash, which he loves, because he was afraid it was asparagus. I basically had to force the squash in his mouth for him to realize what I was giving him. After that he was like, oh I like this I guess I will eat now. LOL I told Matt that story and he said that Will must be stubborn like me. HA HA
Lately, I have been trying to decide if I need to do something different with Will's sleeping schedule. I would love if he slept through the night. According to my doctor he doesn't need to eat at night. After some research and a lot of thought I think I am going to look into the no-cry sleep method. I cannot let him cry it out. It doesn't work and it just makes us both sad. Part of me keeps thinking that I just need to let it happen on his own. According to my mom that is what she did and I got to thinking that my grandparents and people before them probably didn't have all these crazy methods, they just relaxed and let their kids learn on their own. So why can't I? He usually only wakes up once, sometimes twice a night. So I can get up and nurse him once a night if he needs it. I guess we shall see. :)
Matt and I were making the bed and Matt put Will on top of the comforter, which he just sunk down into. It was pretty cute.
We put this blanket around Will and thought he looked regal. :)
He is the king of the alphabet land!
Aww! He's getting cuter and cuter. Obviously I can't give much advice on getting him to sleep through the night, but I'm sure it will all work out in time. :) You could put a little bourbon in his bottle. ;) I kid, I kid.
